Brief

This sports wear multi-national manufactured undertook a review of their merchandising operations, concerned that they may be lagging behind competitors in sales partly due to a decentralized operating model that didn’t align with the company’s other operations. Its businesses were focused on individual countries, with little collaboration among them, and suffered from lack of clear ownership.

WhiteCrow were engaged to help understand the structure and reporting lines of a main competitors merchandising team across the globe and in particular whether it was centralized or dispersed.
